Business Contributions

SSN receives many generous gift contributions from businesses in the Bloor West/Junction/High Park area, such as clothing, groceries, pharmacy supplies, health services and more. We connect neighbours to local businesses through thousands of gifts each year, such as new books for homebound, eager young readers and pharmacy gift cards for isolated seniors.

We are grateful to work with businesses (of any size) who want to expand their market-base to include our communities’ most vulnerable populations.

Social Connectors

If you are associated with a social agency (e.g. school, healing centre, shelter, faith community) and would like to connect community members in the neighbourhood with free products and services that help improve their well-being, please consider becoming a SSN Social Connector.

Individual Donations

Individuals can make financial contributions through CanadaHelps.org.

We are continually developing strategies to help deal with new issues that arise in our community, such as those associated with the pandemic, and the rising costs of living. We operate as frugally as we can to ensure that your money goes to the people who need it. We aim to keep administrative costs to 10% of our total overhead, so that we can continue to operate and to pay staff salaries.

Volunteering
